The Rev Canon Parker school chapel was re-dedicated to the glory of God on Thursday February 2nd 2017 after successfully undergoing a facelift.

The ceremony took place during the Communion service that marked the 85th Founders’ Day anniversary of the college and the unveiling of the commemorative plaque was done after the service by the ICOBA President, Mr Foluso Phillips in the presence of other old boys and family and friends of ICOBA.

The renovation, which was completed just in time for the Founders’ Day activities, was sponsored by ICOBA North America and ICOBA 7173 Set while Chief Uche Ukpuno donated a hi-tech state-of-the-art public address system. The face of the alter was completely transformed with marble works and stainless steel balustrades while the windows were totally changed to reflect modern architecture. Additional air conditioning was installed and the lighting and fans were also changed. The building, both exterior and interior, was also repainted. The project cost in excess of N10million.

The sponsoring sets have pledged to maintain the facility annually to uphold the new standard it has attained and has urged others to follow suit in adopting projects in the school for execution.
