Nominations are hereby invited for the ICOBA MERIT AWARDS at the 86th Founders’ Day Anniversary Celebrations coming up in February 2018.

Recommendations are to be submitted either in electronic or printed copies to the Committee on or before Wednesday, NOVEMBER 15, 2017.

TERMS:

1. The Categories to be vied for are: 

• Service to ICOBA
• Service to Igbobi College
• Service to the Nation
• Professional Excellence
• Academic Achievement

       2. The Nomination Package MUST contain the following:

1. Letter of Nomination by a Branch, Chapter or a Set
2. Detailed Resume and Profile of the nominee and other support documents that best support his nomination.
3. 2 Nos. 5x7 Digital Portrait Photographs.
4. A letter from the nominee stating that should he be deemed fit to receive the award by the National Executive Council he SHALL be present at the ceremony to receive the award as such conferment is NEITHER done in absentia nor through a proxy.
5. Proof of payment by the Nominating Branch, Chapter or Set.
6. Nominees MUST be financial members for at least three (3) consecutive years (i.e. April 2015 – March 2016, April 2016 - March 2017 and April 2017 – March 2018).

       3. The awards are to be strongly weighted towards Service to ICOBA and Service to the College.

       4. There is no limit to the number of nominees that may be presented to the Committee.

       5. All nominations should be sent directly to “The Secretary General”, Igbobi College Old Boys’ Association, ICOBA House, Igbobi College

           Yaba, Lagos, or via e-mail secgen@icobainternational.org.

       6. All recommendations must come through Branches, Chapters and Sets except in cases where the Nominee’s Set does not meet

          formally. In such a case, at least three (3) members of his Set must sign the Nomination Letter.

NB: It is the responsibility of every nominee and his proposers to submit all the relevant documents, which may best support his nomination, and the Committee may solicit more supporting documents where required.

Nominees should ensure that all relevant documents are enclosed in one (1) envelope and addressed as ‘Nomination Package’.

Nomination packages received after 23:59 Hours on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 WILL NOT receive attention.
